涂耀东,男,博士,研究员。2010年毕业于华中科技大学,获工学学士学位;2013年毕业于华中科技大学,获得制冷及低温工程硕士学位;2017年毕业于上海交通大学,获得动力工程及工程热物理博士学位。2019年至2023年在麻省理工学院从事博士后研究工作。2023年到所工作至今,2023年晋升为副研究员,2025年晋升为研究员。入选大连化物所“张大煜青年学者”和辽宁省“兴辽英才”。在PNAS, Joule, Nano Energy, Energy等学术期刊上发表论文20余篇,授权发明专利10余项,其中授权国际专利5项。
主要致力于先进热能转化与利用相关的科学及技术研究。包括:(1)化学热泵低碳供热技术;(2)热泵耦合工业过程节能减碳技术;(3)太阳能直接制冷或制热相关的能源材料开发;(4)长时高效电化学储热技术。
