叶茂,男,研究员,博士生导师,低碳催化与工程研究部副部长,催化新过程开发与放大研究组组长。1994年在江苏科技大学获学士学位,1997年和2000年在东南大学热能研究所分别获得硕士和博士学位,2000-2009年先后在荷兰Twente大学、Eindhoven理工大学以及壳牌公司阿姆斯特丹技术中心工作,2010年至今在大连化物所工作。
主要围绕国家在煤化工和石油化工领域的需求,开展催化新过程的开发及反应器放大研究。参加了神华包头世界首套甲醇制烯烃(DMTO)装置的投料开车、第二代甲醇制烯烃(DMTO-II)技术工业性试验及首套工业装置投料开车;负责了第三代甲醇制烯烃(DMTO-III)技术、甲醇制丙烯(DMTP)技术、甲醇甲苯制对二甲苯联产烯烃技术、甲醇石脑油耦合制芳烃技术等中试放大和工业化。主持国家重点研发计划,国家自然科学基金重大研究计划集成项目、重大项目以及重点项目,中科院战略先导专项,BP和SABIC等国际合作课题多项。在Nature、Nature Communications、AIChE Journal等期刊上发表学术论文160余篇,申请专利280余件,授权240余件。曾获中国科学院杰出成就奖、中国石化联合会科技进步特等奖、中国化工学会侯德榜科技创新奖、中国科学院科技促进发展奖等。入选英国皇家学会Newton Advanced Fellowship、辽宁省“兴辽英才计划”领军人才、科技部创新人才计划中青年科技领军人才等。
